Autologous blood therapy for hair loss

Preparation:After a detailed consultation a small amount of blood (10-12ml) is taken, which is prepared in the IMPACT Zentrifuge. The blood sample is spun at high speed to separate the components according to their density. Through this process the platelet-rich plasma is separated from the other blood components.

The resulting autologous conditioned serum is a concentrated solution containing various anti-inflammatory proteins, including the interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1Ra), which helps regulate the inflammatory response.

Treatment: After centrifugation, the platelet-rich plasma is injected into the scalp using very fine needles. The treatment itself takes around 20 minutes.
