Consultation: At OmniMed we are not only specialized in injections with hyaluronic acid, but also have experience correcting these injections and are happy to advise you. Important for assessing the result of a hyaluronic acid injection is to wait about two weeks after treatment, for example in the lip area. Then we can determine together with our patients whether a correction using hyaluronidase is necessary.
Preparation: The treatment area is cleaned and disinfected. If desired, a topical anesthetic ointment can be applied beforehand.
Treatment: Then Hylase is injected. As with all other injections, we proceed cautiously and use as little material as possible in the first step. This makes particular sense with hyaluronidase so that no naturally occurring hyaluron is dissolved.
Aftercare: After two weeks the result of the Hylase treatment is assessed and – if necessary – a further injection is performed.
