In an initial consultation, we will discuss which peeling is suitable for your skin type. A detailed medical history and an individual treatment plan are drawn up. Before starting the treatment, we recommend using preparation creams to acclimatize the skin to the peeling substances for around two weeks. After about two weeks of preparation, the skin is ready and the first peeling can begin.

This varies from peeling to peeling. With very strong peels such as TCA, a single treatment is often sufficient.

As a rule, however, around 4-6 peelings are carried out at intervals of around 3 weeks, depending on the condition of the skin. A clearly visible treatment result can be achieved after this series of treatments, and the treatments can be continued at longer intervals to ensure that tired-looking skin is refreshed.

Intensive moisturizing care nourishes, conditions and regenerates the skin in the days following the peel and allows the process of slight flaking to go almost unnoticed. Daily use of sun protection cream is also essential after the peel. We recommend a moisturizing SPF50+ sunscreen with a broad filter spectrum against UVA and UVB radiation. The treated skin should not be exposed to intensive sunlight for up to 4 weeks. We will be happy to help you choose the right care products for your needs in our practice.

With a medical peel under medical supervision, the risk of unwanted side effects is low. Temporary reddening of the skin is possible, but no complications are to be expected after appropriate pre-treatment.
