Miracell® Stem Cell Therapy for Hair Loss

Consultation: Before treatment begins, we’ll have a detailed discussion to review your specific hair condition, possible causes of hair loss, and your personal goals.

Preparation: For the treatment, the patient’s own stem cells are extracted from the blood at OmniMed in Eisenstadt and Klagenfurt. Approximately 30 ml of venous blood is drawn and then processed in a special Miracell® centrifuge. The centrifugation process isolates the stem cells and prepares them in a concentrated form.

Treatment: The processed stem cells are precisely injected into the scalp. There, they activate regenerative processes and support the nourishment of the hair follicles. The goal is to stimulate hair growth, improve hair structure, and reduce hair loss.

Follow-up treatments: We typically perform this treatment once; ideally, it should be repeated every 9–12 months.

The Miracell® system was developed to process stem cells with exceptional care and precision. During centrifugation, the speed and angle are automatically adjusted to preserve as many viable cells as possible. This meticulous processing forms the basis for effective application to the scalp.

A sophisticated system design minimizes the loss of valuable cellular components while specifically separating platelet-poor plasma. This results in a concentrated stem cell preparation that can be optimally utilized for treatment. Only sterile, single-use kits are used to ensure high standards of hygiene.
