Treatment: After applying the ultrasound gel, the practitioner guides the ultrasound head of the Ultherapy Prime handpiece over the skin in a targeted manner. The patented "DeepSEE" imaging technology allows areas with low collagen fiber density to be localized. This enables the ultrasound energy to be delivered to these regions in a targeted manner. Precise heating of the tissue at a depth of between 1.5 mm and 3.0 mm stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin. Depending on the treatment area, the treatment takes between 30 and 90 minutes in total.
The first lifting effect is already visible after treatment within the thermal coagulation points (TCP). The success builds up progressively within weeks and months after treatment. What is behind the Ultherapy PrimeĀ® procedure?
During the treatment, areas with a low density of collagen fibres are localized using a transducer and treated. Micro-focused ultrasound energy is used, which works at a depth of 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm. The treatment works precisely in the area that you want to tighten or lift. The patented "DeepSEE" system is used for this. As the only non-invasive procedure, ultrasound-targeted imaging is performed at the same time as the controlled release of energy.
The tissue in the dermis is now heated evenly and briefly to 60-70Ā°C. This is the optimal temperature for denaturing existing collagen and promoting the formation of new collagen and elastin.
