CoolSculpting® is the original cold treatment from ZELTIQ for permanent fat reduction without surgery.

How does CoolSculpting® work to reduce fat?
During the procedure, the treatment area is suctioned with a special applicator that creates a vacuum. A cycle of intensive cooling begins, whereby only the fat cells in the desired area are targeted, leaving the rest of the tissue unharmed. Only the fat cells are selectively targeted.
After treatment, the cells go into a state of apoptosis (controlled cell death), which means that the fat cells die naturally and the fatty tissue shrinks permanently.

In this method, fat cells are specifically cooled using a vacuum bell. Depending on the area, the treatment takes between 35 and 75 minutes.
CoolSculpting® works in a targeted manner. Surrounding tissue and skin are protected.
Natural breakdown process: The body recognizes the crystallized, frozen fat cells. The immune system begins to break down the fat cells.
The fat cells are removed and disappear within the next few weeks.
After 2 to 3 months, the fat layer is significantly reduced. CoolSculpting® has a lasting effect.

How many treatments are necessary?
One treatment is sufficient in most cases. Approximately 30% of the treated fat volume disappears per treatment session. The result is permanent.
Is the CoolSculpting® treatment painful and are there any risks or side effects?
CoolSculpting® is effective but not painful. At the beginning of the treatment, you will only feel a "pulling" or slight "stinging" sensation, which will subside after a few minutes.
The treatment is based on the scientific findings of cryolipolysis and is FDA-approved, which means that the device is both safe and effective.
