OmniMed first EMSCULPT surgery in Austria

We are delighted to be the first practice in Austria to introduce our patients to a revolutionary innovation in the field of body treatments.
EMSCULPT is the latest technological advance in body shaping procedures in the world, which build muscle and reduce fat without surgery or other interventions.

As a medical treatment method that has been certified by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration), its use is reserved for doctors or medical personnel. This patented method is based on muscle contractions, but is not comparable to the classic EMS (electro-myo-stimulation) training offered in many fitness studios.
The non-invasive HIFEM® technology (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) of the EMSCULPT causes muscle contractions down to deep muscle groups in the abdomen and buttocks.

The treatment zones are enveloped in an intensive magnetic field, during which they are induced to contract supramaximally. Within 30 minutes, muscle groups contract around 20,000 times, imitating 20,000 sit-ups or 20,000 squats, so to speak. This is hardly possible to achieve with conventional muscle training or workouts.

The muscle growth and fat reduction in the treatment zones defines the body on the stomach and buttocks, so that the so-called six-pack and the "butt lift" can be achieved for the first time in a non-surgical way.

Of course, the scientific factor should not be missing here - studies on the effectiveness and safety of EMSCULPT also exist for this procedure. The average muscle gain after a complete treatment cycle is 16% and fat loss is 19%. The treatments last 30 minutes each and should be carried out 6 times within 3-4 weeks. The treatment effect lasts a very long time even without training, but it is still advisable to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which should include sport and training.

EMSCULPT has been available in the USA since May 2018 and is already very popular here. A patient satisfaction rate of 96% after treatment makes the question of whether it works superfluous. Photos are available here.
