FAQs on Botox treatment
Botox has been used successfully for decades to reduce expression lines. It can also be used as a preventative treatment method against wrinkles.
On average, Botox treatment lasts 3 to 6 months, depending on the region. The exact effectiveness depends on the muscle activity and the depth of the existing wrinkles.
It takes a week for the Botox to take full effect. During this time, no great pressure should be exerted on the treatment area, as is the case with intensive cosmetic treatments or facial massages, for example. Patients should also avoid saunas, steam baths, solariums and sunbathing. Sport and daily facial care, on the other hand, are not a problem.
The first step in a Botox treatment at OmniMed is a detailed consultation, after which we can - if desired - start the treatment straight away. At OmniMed, injections are always divided into two appointments within 14 days to avoid over-injections.
As is so often the case in medicine, the credo "the dose makes the poison" also applies to Botox. Botox injections should only be carried out by doctors with experience in this field who have the necessary knowledge of dosage and injection site.
The so-called Botox effect occurs when the Botox treatment is repeated several times in the same area. The permanent relaxation causes the muscles to increasingly forget how to form wrinkles, which means that the results of the treatment last longer.
If patients already have deeply indented wrinkles, Botox treatment alone can sometimes no longer lead to the desired results. In this case, we recommend a combination treatment of Botox and hyaluronic acid.
The cost of Botox injections depends on the treatment area and therefore the amount used. The treatment of frown lines costs around €240, while the combined treatment of frown lines, crow's feet and forehead wrinkles costs €420. For the treatment of excessive sweating, the cost is €700 for the armpits, palms or soles of the feet.
FAQs on hyaluronic acid injections
Hyaluronic acid is a substance produced naturally in the body that binds moisture and supports the tissue. During wrinkle injections, it is injected specifically into the defined skin layers to add volume, smooth wrinkles or improve contours.
The method is suitable for nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lip wrinkles, but also for emphasizing lips, chin or cheeks. Fine wrinkles can also be plumped up.
The effect lasts 9 to 18 months, depending on the region, product and individual metabolism. After that, the hyaluronic acid is completely broken down by the body.
Depending on the indication, the treatment area is prepared with an anesthetic cream. The treatment is generally well tolerated.

HArmonyCA is a combination preparation consisting of two different active ingredients: Hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxialapatite (CaHA). Together, the two fillers have a hybrid effect, which is reflected in volume build-up and collagen production. The face appears fresher and younger overall.
HArmonyCA is suitable as an anti-aging treatment, for facial modeling and for general improvement of the skin's appearance.
HArmonyCA works by combining deep-acting hyaluronic fillers, which create immediate volume, and biostimulators (CaHA microspheres), which promote natural collagen production. This synergistic effect achieves an immediate lifting effect and long-term skin improvements.
Since the filler is injected with a very thin needle, the treatment is particularly painless.

Liquid lifting is a non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation in which various hyaluronic acid preparations are used in a targeted manner to compensate for volume loss and harmonize facial contours - completely without a scalpel.
While wrinkle injections treat individual lines or wrinkles, liquid lifting takes a holistic approach: the entire facial volume is remodeled, creating a gentle lifting effect.
With liquid lifting, larger areas are treated. This indirectly lifts or reduces the chin, jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Asymmetries or age-related hollow cheeks can also be corrected.

The treatment is useful if hyaluronic fillers have not been incorporated correctly, have shifted, create too much volume or the result looks unnatural. Rapid dissolution may also be necessary in cases of intolerance.
Basically yes - provided it is non-cross-linked or cross-linked hyaluronic acid on a non-permanent basis. Permanent or non-CE-certified fillers cannot usually be dissolved.

While hyaluronic acid primarily builds volume and moisturizes, Radiesse also has a biostimulating effect. It activates the formation of new collagen and thus improves the skin structure in the long term.

Treatment with the EMSELLA Chair from BTL uses electromagnetic waves to effectively strengthen the pelvic floor. The magnetic field triggers supramaximal muscle contractions and thus trains the pelvic floor.
EMSELLA is used to treat incontinence and bladder weakness after childbirth or the menopause. In addition, the strengthened pelvic floor can also improve sexual dysfunction.

At OmniMed, excessive sweating is treated specifically with botulinum toxin (Botox). This involves blocking the nerve impulses that activate the sweat glands.
The affected areas are marked and the Botox is injected in small quantities using very fine needles. The treatment takes around 15-30 minutes and is virtually painless.
As a rule, no anesthetic is required. However, an anesthetic cream can be applied on request to make the treatment even more comfortable.
The effect usually sets in after a week and lasts for up to a year.

In the armpit area, the treatment is well tolerated and virtually painless. In the area of the hands and feet, however, the treatment is perceived as painful.

FAQs on laser hair removal
The treatment is carried out with a medical SHR diode laser (e.g. Alma Soprano ICE Platinum or Titanium), which gradually introduces energy into the skin ("in-motion" technique). In this way, the hair root is evenly heated and damaged without irritating the surrounding tissue.
Laser hair removal is generally possible on all hair areas - face, armpits, legs, intimate areas, back, etc. The modern devices cover small and large areas equally well.
Thanks to SHR technology and 360° ICE cooling, the treatment is largely painless. Patients usually only report a slight sensation of heat.
The average number of sessions is around 6 at intervals of 4 to 8 weeks, as only around 15-20% of the hair per session is in the active growth phase. Individual factors can influence the total duration.
The SHR technique with combined wavelengths is effective for all skin types - even skin with a light tan. It is important that the hair contains melanin - white hair cannot be treated.
Shave the area to be treated about one day before the appointment. Do not epilate, wax or pluck beforehand, as the hair root must be preserved for the laser.

FAQs on LAVIEEN laser treatment
The LAVIEEN laser is a skin renewal and rejuvenation laser that belongs to the Thulium laser systems. It enables one of the latest fractional laser treatments and is used for cosmetic and medical-aesthetic indications.
It is known as the "BB laser" (baby face) because the treatment gives the skin evenness and flawlessness.
The laser is particularly suitable for skin lightening in the case of hyperpigmentation, anti-ageing, skin tightening, skin texture improvement, pore reduction, acne scars, scar reduction and the treatment of stretch marks and hair loss.
The LAVIEEN laser works with a wavelength of 1,927 nm and can be individually adapted to the skin, from non-ablative to ablative. It can improve skin structure, treat pigmentation and stimulate collagen production.
Non-ablative treatment does not require anesthesia. For sub-ablative and ablative applications, an anesthetic ointment is applied to ensure comfort.
After the sub-ablative treatment, there is a slight reddening, which subsides the next day at the latest. Fine crusts dissolve within a few days and the final result is visible after about a week.
The treatment has a very narrow side effect profile. Complications such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are practically non-existent, as the skin surface remains intact.
