Recently, our practice has therefore acquired the new Laserplattform Harmony XL Pro Special Edition von Alma Lasers.
Harmony XL Pro at OmniMed
The Harmony XL Pro is a versatile solution for a wide range of laser treatments. With the appropriate applicators from Alma Lasers, a variety of aesthetic treatments can be offered. At OmniMed we use it for an effective Tattoo removal, a gentle treatment of Spider veins and for the safe Skin rejuvenation and Skin tightening use.
Tattoo removal with ClearLift
With the ClearLift applicator the Harmony XL Pro is now also used by us for the Tattoo removal with laser in use. The Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers stands here for a safe, gentle and at the same time effective removal of unwanted tattoos. Because this laser device combines two wavelengths in one module, even multicolored tattoos can be successfully removed. While the wavelength of 1.064 nm is particularly effective for darker colors, the 532 nm wavelength can treat especially light colors. The energy released by the laser in nanosecond pulses breaks up the individual pigment particles of the tattoo. The surrounding tissue is protected at the same time, thereby reducing the risk of scarring or hypopigmentation.
Precise spider vein treatment
For the treatment of vascular lesions such as Spider veins we use the Harmony XL Pro platform together with the cooled LP laser. This Long-pulsed Nd:YAG lasers offers a powerful and gentle removal of vascular abnormalities. Thanks to the 1.064 nm wavelength, this laser has a particularly high penetration depth, allowing it to reach deeper vessels as well. The long pulse duration enables the desired heating of the vessels, which are then sealed and transported away. This permanently eliminates unsightly bluish veins. Meanwhile, the integrated Contact cooling for a gentler, more comfortable application and a minimized risk of side effects. The visible aiming beam of this laser device also allows for even more precise treatment.
Skin tightening and rejuvenation
Last but not least, the Harmony XL Pro is used together with the ClearLift applicator for the Skin tightening with laser in use. Through fractional application, the laser stimulates the Collagen neosynthesis stimulates. Fresh collagen counteracts loss of firmness, skin irregularities, fine lines and wrinkles and restores elasticity to the skin. In the fractional laser method the laser pulses are not applied broadly across the entire skin surface, but only pointwise. As a result, the short pulses can primarily raise the temperature in the subdermis, which leads to the formation of new collagen. The microinjuries to the skin caused by the fractional method stimulate the body's own repair processes. This leads to the desired Tightening of the skin and a Improvement of the complexion. As we also work with the two wavelengths of 1,064 nm and 532 nm, various skin problems can be treated.
