We have therefore recently added the new Harmony XL Pro Special Edition laser platform from Alma Lasers to our practice.
Harmony XL Pro at OmniMed
The Harmony XL Pro is a versatile solution for a wide range of laser treatments. With the matching applicators from Alma Lasers, a wide range of aesthetic treatments can be offered. At OmniMed, we use it for effective tattoo removal, gentle treatment of spider veins and for safe skin rejuvenation and skin tightening.
Tattoo removal with ClearLift
With the ClearLift applicator Harmony XL Pro is now also available for the Tattoo removal with laser for use. The Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers stands for safe, gentle and effective removal of unwanted tattoos. As this laser device combines two wavelengths in one module, even multicolored tattoos can be successfully removed. While the wavelength of 1,064 nm is particularly effective for darker colors, the wavelength of 532 nm can be used to treat light colors in particular. The energy released by the laser in nanosecond pulses breaks up the individual color particles of the tattoo. At the same time, the surrounding tissue is spared, reducing the risk of scarring or hypopigmentation.
Precise spider vein treatment
For the treatment of vascular lesions such as Spider veins we use the Harmony XL Pro platform together with the cooled LP laser. This Long-pulsed Nd:YAG lasers offers powerful and gentle removal of vascular changes. Thanks to the wavelength of 1,064 nm, this laser has a particularly high penetration depth, allowing it to reach deeper vessels. The long pulse duration enables the desired heating of the vessels, which are then sealed and removed. As a result, unsightly bluish veins disappear permanently. Meanwhile, the integrated Contact cooling for a gentler, more comfortable application and a minimized risk of side effects. The visible target beam of this laser device also enables even more precise treatment.
Skin tightening and rejuvenation
Last but not least, the Harmony XL Pro comes together with the ClearLift applicator for the Skin tightening with laser for use. Due to the fractional application, the laser stimulates the Collagen neosynthesis on. Fresh collagen counteracts loss of elasticity, skin irregularities, fine lines and wrinkles and restores elasticity to the skin. With the fractional laser method the laser pulses are not distributed over the entire surface of the skin, but only applied selectively. This allows the short pulses to increase the temperature in the subdermis in particular, which leads to the formation of new collagen.
