VYCROSS - Hyaluronic acid of the latest generation

Allergan presented a new highlight at the 11th Congress for Anti Aging and Aesthetic Medicine in Monaco. The new VYCROSS technology has made it possible to produce a hyaluronic acid gel in which short-chain and long-chain hyaluronic acid chains can be cross-linked more effectively.

This new VYCROSS technology has the following advantages:

  • Improved suppleness and malleability in the fabric
  • Significantly better injection comfort for the doctor, ensuring virtually pain-free treatment
  • Significantly longer shelf life of up to 18 months

This ground-breaking technology ensures that water retention in the tissue is reduced, thus largely preventing swelling after treatment. The intensive hydration of the hyaluronic acid is maintained by the particularly dense and stable network of long and short-chain hyaluronic acid molecules.

Juvéderm VOLUMA contains 20 mg/ml VYCROSS hyaluronic gel and was specially developed to restore lost volume to the face, e.g. in the cheek, chin or jawline area. It has the strongest lifting effect and the longest shelf life of all products and is preferably used for liquid lifting.

Juvéderm VOLIFT contains 17.5 mg/ml hyaluronic gel and is ideal for filling, smoothing and rejuvenating the mid-face, for example the nasolabial folds, and works almost twice as long as a conventional hyaluronic filler.

Juvéderm VOLBELLA contains 15 mg/ml of VYCROSS hyaluronic gel. It is a smooth and very malleable hyaluronic gel. It is ideal for the lip area and also for the tear trough.

Juvéderm VOLITE is the latest product in the VYCROSS line and has been specially developed to improve skin quality. The shelf life for this product is approximately 9 months with a single application. The most common areas are the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
