How does ultrasound work?

This modern procedure works with micro-focused ultrasound energy, which penetrates the skin without damaging it. This ultrasound treatment then generates a specific temperature at a precisely defined depth of the tissue of 1.5 millimetres, 3 millimetres and 4.5 millimetres. This specially selected temperature is ideal for stimulating the body's own collagen and elastin production and denaturing existing collagen. This stimulation leads to the formation of new elastic fibers, which restore the lost elasticity to the application area.

Long-term effect

Our patients notice the first changes immediately after treatment. However, as Ultherapy also stimulates the body's own production of collagen and elastin, the results will continue to build up over the coming weeks and months.
