EMSELLA with HIFEM technology
But how does this pelvic floor training with EMSELLA work? It is based on HIFEM technology. The term stands for High Intensity Focused ElectroMagnetic, as the method works with electromagnetic waves. These are emitted by the EMSELLA Chair and generate supramaximal muscle contractions in the pelvic floor. As a result, the muscle is strengthened more effectively in just a 30-minute session than would usually be possible even with particularly intensive and targeted training.
The EMSELLA treatment
During the 30-minute treatment, patients sit fully clothed on the EMSELLA chair. They can read, listen to music or simply relax. Only the use of electronic devices is not possible due to the electromagnetic waves. Immediately after the treatment, patients are fit for social life again. In addition, the treatment has no side effects, at most there is a slight muscle ache.
