With Ultherapy against the signs of skin ageing

Until not too long ago, one still had to go under the knife for a facelift. But the new, non-invasive procedure Ultherapy makes equivalently effective lifting results possible – without needles, sutures, or scalpel.

As the only one by the FDA-approved ultrasound procedure, Ultherapy is a truly highly effective treatment against the signs of aging of the skin. An expert panel of physicians thus named the procedure the “Gold Standard” for non-surgical skin tightening.

How Ultherapy works

The treatment uses microfocused ultrasound energy. This is directed into the area to be treated, where it gently and evenly heats the tissue to approximately 60–70°C. The targeted work at this temperature causes the body to activate its natural healing process to activate. It begins to change the structure of the collagen present in the skin and to produce dense, new collagen and elastin fibers to produce.

With Ultherapy you can virtually “turn back” time. Because after the treatment far more of these youth-giving proteins are produced in the skin than would be ‘due’ to someone of that age. The newly formed collagen and elastin fibers provide firm, plump, and smoother skin with long-term effect.

The "DeepSEE" system

With the revolutionary “DeepSEE” imaging system the Ultherapy procedure can make visible which skin areas or layers have a low collagen content. The treatment device can then be adjusted so that exactly the right spots are reached by the ultrasound energy and skin regeneration is particularly stimulated there.

This feature makes Ultherapy the only non-invasive treatment concept that allows both imaging and controlled energy delivery at the same time.

Ultherapy at OmniMed

We offer the Ultherapy procedure in both practices in Eisenstadt and Klagenfurt . The costs are 500 € for the eye area (Malar Fat Bag), 600 € for upper lip lines, eyebrows or crow’s feet, 2,000 € for jowls and 3,000 € for a complete facelift including brow lift and upper neck. The session duration is 30 to 90 minutes depending on the treated skin region.

The Ultherapy procedure is only carried out once and can be repeated every 1.5 years if desired.

Results with a long-term effect

Since Ultherapy naturally stimulates the body's own collagen production continuously, it takes several weeks and months for the effect to fully develop. During this time patients observe how their skin becomes continuously firmer, tighter, smoother and more rejuvenated . The final result is achieved after about 3 to 6 months.

Unlike with conventional, invasive lifting methods, there are with Ultherapy no downtime. You are therefore immediately able to resume social activities after the treatment and can continue your daily routine as usual.
